Things to do in Glasgow

Our walking tour is unique to Glasgow. It takes in up to five locations. Tasting locally sourced food and drink with the guide talking about the history of the area as you walk between venues. We would also like to suggest other things to do in Glasgow during your stay. Click on the photos below for further information.

Glasgow City Music Tours

Guided walking tours of Glasgow’s Music scene. They offer two distinct tours, which will run each Friday and Saturday. They can also provide bespoke tours to meet your specific requirements.

Glasgow Cathedral

The area where the Cathedral is sited has a number of historic buildings nearby plus the Necropolis. So a good area to spend half a day visiting.

Necropolis

Some may say a rather dark thing to visit a cemetery. But the Necropolis is worth a visit even if only for the views over the city but there a number of interesting structures to see as you walk round.

The House of an Art Lover

A loving restoration of a Charles Rennie McIntoch designed home bedecked with many pieces of McIntosh furniture and his distinctive flourishes.

Scottish Football Museum

A little bit out of the centre of Glasgow but worth a visit to see how the game (or as some know it as soccer) has evolved from its humble beginnings to one of the most watched sports in the world.

Kelvingrove Museum

Well worth a visit even if it isn’t raining many great exhibits and artworks on display and it’s free.
